About Our Psychologists
– Why Healthfocus?
Clinical Psychologists have a minimum of 8 years of undergraduate and postgraduate training, while Registered Psychologists have a minimum of 6 years of training.
Clinical Psychologists have further experience and training in research, assessment, intervention and multi-disciplinary consultation for mental health conditions in the DSM that enables wider and deeper engagement with complex psychological issues and application of combined or advanced approaches during treatment.
At Healthfocus, our Clinical Psychologists are assigned more complex cases where there may be more severe or multiple interacting issues, including trauma, or when there are medico-legal issues. Registered Psychologists with Healthfocus benefit from the experience and supervision of one of our Clinical Psychologists.
